Welcome to the Law Offices of Donnelly-Mills & Hobson, LLC. We are a mother daughter team, and as such we understand that each family is different and may need different things. We have built our practice around the principle that family comes first. No one knows your family better than you and that is why we make have made it our mission to listen and understand each individual situation and tailor our advice and guidance to meet the personal needs of each of our clients.

At the Law Offices of Donnelly-Mills & Hobson, LLC we have an excellent support staff, including two experienced legal assistants and one immigration expert. Together, we have 13 years of criminal trial experience and 12 years of family and immigration law experience.

Attorneys

Denise Donnelly-Mills

Practice Areas: Concentrated in Juvenile, Immigration & Family Law-specifically Child in Need of Care.

Education: Graduated from Friends University in 1984 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mass Communications with an emphasis in broadcasting and speech. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1989 from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, KS.

Professional History: Denise began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with Sedgwick County. She worked there for 12 years and focused primarily in the areas of sex crimes and domestic violence. Denise began work for the Immigration Law Office in 2002 where she focused solely on Immigration Law. In 2004, Denise opened a solo practice in Winfield, KS where she worked in the areas of family law and criminal defense. In 2006, she opened an office in Wichita, KS.

Membership: Denise is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Wichita Bar Association and the Wichita Women’s Attorney’s Association.

Whitney Hobson

Practice Areas: Concentrated in Family Law, Probate, Juvenile & Immigration.

Education: Whitney graduated from Friends University in 2011 with a bachelor’s of science in criminal justice and pre-law. She received her juris doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 2014. While attending Washburn, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Trial Team, completed an internship with Kansas Legal Services in Wichita, KS and spent a semester working in the Immigration and Family Law Clinics.

Professional History: Whitney has worked for the Law Office of Denise Donnelly-Mills since receiving her juris doctorate degree in 2014.

Membership: Whitney is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Wichita Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Association, the Wichita Women’s Attorney’s Association and the Washburn Law Alumni Association.

Bryan Nicholson
